- Auto Shut Down : Humidifiers that do not have an automatic shut down option can be a fire hazard if not shut down manually when the water runs out. Choose one which can auto shut down.
- Maintenance : Choose the ones which have no maintenance filters or are easy to clean. Running costs should be low too.
- Cost : This is totally relative; You should pick a humidifier with optimal features at your price range.
