Despite the non-monetary nature of Craigs List; or more correct is, because it’s non-monetary, Craiglist has proven a mainstay and a worthy opponent of AOL, Yahoo!, Google and Microsoft. For despite the low-cost and low-maintenance state of this small company, they are ranked as the seventh as compared to the big-time companies. Craiglist is only full of deception when it comes to the fact that despite its 300 Craiglist sites, fifty in the United States and another fifty to other countries. It is a clear sign that, as the economy becomes more unstable and prices are raised frightfully, resourceful organizations such as Craiglist poise as a sign of a new wave setting in.
The mission of Craiglist is to provide people with the information that they need be it for a rent of room or anything worth-looking for readily available to the public. And this is all despite the acquiring of eBay of twenty-five percent of The Craiglist in august 2004. The freshness of data posted on Craiglist is not compromised due to the wide array of individuals easily accessible to the general public. In giving people the voice that they need, everyone is given then fair share of opportunity that they deserve.
